"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."

I do not agree with this statement. I believe that students should be able to express themselves while still learning to work and get an education. school is about learning, but school also consumes majority of students day to day lives so I feel that students should have time to engage in activities they enjoy while they are not learning. As in art, music and theater. Without these things, students will dread coming to school more and more making it more difficult for students to enjoy school and learning.
